Why won't they get off Solange?!?
I dont know what it is about Solange, but the blogger community is always on her case! By the way, Happy Belated Birthday Solange! Anyway, it has been over a year since she BC'd and bloggers are finding it hard to believe that this is her hair. Truth is, and you may not realize it because you are on that hair crack, but healthy natural hair can grow LONG in a year. Plus, I don't think many wigs will be this wild. Point being, since shes been back in the US the last month or so, every pic of her you see, her hair is the same, her pics from her time in Australia, her hair is the same. Bloggers, have you ever thought "dang, this must be her hair"? If not, I need you to realize it because this obsession with her hair is driving me nuts!

I agree with you! You know, its no one's business about her hair. Frankly, people spend too much time worrying about foolishness. Her hair is not, necessarily, tight and coily as someone like me. Therefore, if she has a looser curl pattern (which I believe she does) her hair will appear longer. Many of us are becoming dogmatic about natural hair, thinking that we are the head ministers of naturality. Worry about YOUR OWN hair and stop trying to preach or chastise others regarding theirs. It took many naturals time to make the change. If she want to put some weave in her head, SO WHAT!
AMEN!!!!!! Because I may be putting some in this summer!!!! But you are right. If you look at my hair, you think its probably an inch or two long but if you pull the curl, its actually about 4 to 4 1/2 inches! I have a tighter curl so its going to look much shorter than it really is!
I start to think that celeb gossip bloggers just run out of things to blog about and end up blogging about foolishness such as this girls hair! No one talks about the hundreds of other actors and singers rocking weaves all dang day!!!
